Homage a la Femme

LADY IN WAITING
ZAMI AND NEFERTITI
KEEPERS OF MOON AND SUN
WALK AMONGST US IN SHADOW AND DUSK.
BRING UNTO US THE VISCERAL
MOST SECRET OF MYSTERIES
MANIFEST YOURSELVES
IN MY WISTFUL RECOLLECTION

ESCAPIST MANIFESTO

Let us no longer rejoice in idols of Generation Y
And those that have come before since the Futurists
That which we seek no longer lies in glass spires and steel monuments
The speed infused roadways and train systems
May they that now stand be abolished.
Should the dwellers of the innermost and celestial beings agree,
The great monoliths that uphold the temple of superficial jurisprudence will fall.
Geniuses of Primitivism and Darkness will stand in the new name of law.
From their creation will immediately raise the new foundations of the earth.
Forests will grow to heights unimagined
Seas will hold all authority of life and death
Those new beings will be born of either wood or ocean as the nymphs of old.
Nostalgia for the antique will no longer be all'antica, but rather itself -
The Newest World
SPHINX SPHINX SPHINX
Her name, his existence,
They will petrify and enliven simultaneously, and birth will have a new name
Forever SPHINX
Deity of Reason, of Magic, of Symbols Unknown, of Death, and now of Life
May the name resound. May it become all things holy, all things otherworldly, unknown.
Not a devotion or prayer
A wistfulness no longer
SPHNIX deliver the Other, the New One

Do a loss of chompers really translate to a loss of wisdom?

wide-eyed and swollen-mouthed. I feel a little lost not found.

I sure hope this is a week not to remember.

Laurel Hill

Its fascinating how upon entering and roaming through a cemetery the persistence of time seems irrelevant, and furthermore nonexistent. This cemetery unifies the enigmatic force of the Dead with the living's curiosity. Aesthetically pleasing obelisks and mausoleums flood the eye leaving the surrounding world forgotten, as it should always be.
